    IMPORTANT UPDATE!

Due to the disaster that occurred in Western NC and the call for resources of First Responders from all parts of our state, we have decided to postpone the BOOST event scheduled for October 9, 2024. Although it is disappointing to postpone this important event, we feel it is critical to support the vital roles our First Responders play during this tragic time.  For all of those in Western NC affected and for those who may be going to assist with the efforts there, we pray for your safety and well-being.

Hear from area experts and peer support groups about the importance of maintaining resiliency and mental wellness in the critical and high stress roles of First Responders. Learn about the many resources available whether you need them now or in the future.

    OCTOBER 9, 2024 | 8:00AM - 1:30PM | ANDREWS CONFERENCE CENTER, WAKEMED

    BREAKFAST & LUNCH are included.

The event is FREE to Wake County First Responders, but pre-registration is required, and seats are limited. The program will include testimonials from peer groups, a panel discussion from key resource agencies, a presentation from Dr. Jose Cabanas, Chief Medical Officer for Wake County, and a keynote address from Dr. Micah Krempasky, the Chief Medical Officer for Behavioral Health at WakeMed. A resource center will be available.
